WEEKS 1-2
Discovery: We’ll discuss your project goals and objectives, and map out the next stages.
WEEKS 3-4
Research and interviews: Key product stakeholders will be identified and interviewed.
WEEKS 5-6
Style exploration: We’ll explore visual options – monoline through complex color solutions based on your final needs.
WEEKS 7-8
Concepts: Conceptual solutions for each icon are created. We review these together and move the best ones forward.
WEEKS 9-10
High-fidelity: Concepts are solidified in vector format. This is where it all comes together.
WEEKS 11-12
Design guidelines: A Figma-based design system is created to house your final icons, templates and design guidelines.
WEEKS 13-16
Production and final delivery: Refinements and QA occur during this stage. All icons and deliverables are scrupulously reviewed for perfection and hand-off.
Experience
Allovus has been designing icons for over 18 years. Our iconographic expertise covers smaller bespoke projects through enterprise-level design systems.
We start with sketches – the fastest way to explore concepts. Selected concepts are tightened and reviewed against the attributes they represent.
In the course of this project, we’ll provide:
- Product icons: Up to 10 completely new product icons.
- Research and interviews: Competitive audits and interviews with individual product managers help us establish the criteria necessary for success.
- Exploration: You’ll see our best ideas, and we’ll collaborate as a team from the very beginning. We start with sketches. The strongest concepts move forward into vector-based formats.
- Reviews: We’ll review tighter options together, and provide presentation materials for you to share with other members of your team if needed. We plan for several rounds of refinements to achieve excellence.
- Design guidelines: An extensive Figma-based design system will be created for your design team. It will outline key areas including concepts, design language, construction, production, color, and accessibility.
- Production and delivery: Every stroke of every icon is reviewed thoroughly by our team. Extensive QA on our side helps us provide assets you can use immediately when delivered.
