ABOUT US
How It All Began
Founded by Hayley Higgins in 2009 with the goal of being a different kind of design company, Allovus grew from the desire to provide creative and technical individuals with opportunities that allow them to have a work/life balance. We still believe that, and we work hard as a team to support our number one asset; our people.
These are the values that guide us.
AUTHENTICITY
Bring your whole self.
COLLABORATION
Built on trust, made for partnership.
OPTIMISM
Joy is a strategy.
INTEGRITY
Do the right thing, always.
MAGIC
Create with heart, leave a spark.
Allovus For All
Allovus is a woman-owned equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive and creative environment. Hayley’s mission for Allovus has remained the same as the company has grown: to treat people with respect and care. Staying true to these values ensures that Allovus employees produce meaningful work, create strong community connections, and inspire delight in our clients.
We’re a vibrant mix of curious minds, passionate hearts, and hopeful spirits — humans who care deeply about shaping a better future together.
We look for people who bring who they are to what they do. Diversity isn’t a checkbox for us; it’s the heartbeat of great design. When different voices come together, we create work that’s thoughtful, inclusive, and truly resonant.
We invite those who think differently, feel deeply, love boldly, and work with purpose.

ALENA HANSEN
Relationship Builder. Impact-Maker. Zumba Queen.
With cardio pumping enthusiasm, Alena steps to the left, rocks to the right, and salsas her way into aligning people, projects, and possibilities. As Director of Strategic Initiatives, she brings a forward thinking groove—streamlining processes and shaping organizational planning that keeps Allovus moving with purpose. She scouts RFPs and leads employee engagement, talent acquisition, and key HR initiatives, ensuring the Allovus team feels supported, connected, and set up to thrive. From building culture to anticipating future needs, Alena keeps Allovus in rhythm with both client goals and the people who make them possible.
EVAN JOHNSON
Connector. Strategy Lover. System Simplifier.
Born and raised in Gig Harbor, Evan brings a Pacific Northwest sensibility to business development at Allovus. He builds strong partnerships, uncovers opportunity in complex sales cycles, and turns technical products into scalable, high-impact solutions. A natural bridge between engineering, product, and leadership, he simplifies complexity and designs systems that deliver. Evan is an avid skier, outdoorsman, and South Puget Sound history buff. He reads maps for fun and brings that same instinct to growth – always scanning the landscape and planning the smartest move forward.
STEVE GODFREY
Designer. Motivator. Instigator.
Framing problems, looking at all angles and perspectives, and bringing things into focus for the team—is it any surprise Steve has been an avid photographer since his college days? For Steve, creative direction combines a collaborative spirit topped with a subtle sense of humor. With 20+ years of creative know-how, his expertise spans from the optimization of user-centric experiences to high-fidelity prototyping to corporate branding.
AIMEE HAYES
Seeker. Solver. Hippie.
A free thinker and intuitive creative, Aimee brings a calm, thoughtful presence to everything she touches at Allovus. Known for her ability to connect with people and ideas, she helps guide the direction of the organization by spotting opportunities, nurturing partnerships, and imagining what’s possible next. With an eye toward the future, Aimee plays a key role in shaping the strategy on how Allovus grows, evolves, and continues doing work that matters.
JENN HERGERT
Empathetic Creator. Idea Generator. Disco Ball Owner.
It’s not every day you see a unicorn float—but the fun photo on her website is what first caught our attention about Jenn. Beneath the playful spirit is a strategic design leader who brings clarity, vision, and momentum to every team she leads. Jenn transforms complex challenges into thoughtful, human-centered solutions and aligns teams around a clear creative direction that drives meaningful impact. Whether she’s shaping product vision, elevating design standards, or cultivating creative talent, Jenn brings intention, creativity, and a spark that teams rally behind.
MEGAN BENNETT
Adaptable. Altruistic. Awesomely Awkward.
Amid the forests and streams of the Pacific Northwest, Megan loves hunting for fossils, Carnelian, and other hidden treasures—a rockhound’s curiosity she also brings to her work at Allovus. Part digital detective, she uncovers smarter ways for technology and operations to shine while helping the company stay responsible and compliant. From AI governance and risk management to sustainability reporting and supplier standards, Megan blends structure, strategy, and curiosity to keep systems running smoothly and ensure Allovus meets its environmental and ethical commitments.
TROY ALLEN COLEMAN
Digital Brandologist. Playful Collaborator. Flow Seeker.
Troy Coleman is a seasoned design leader with 15+ years of experience shaping digital products, brands, and creative teams. Known for his collaborative spirit and thoughtful approach to storytelling, Troy blends strategic thinking with playful experimentation to drive meaningful design outcomes. He creates spaces where designers feel safe to explore, iterate, and grow—believing the best ideas come from curiosity, connection, and a little creative mischief.
MARTINA DALTON
Writer. Designer. Grammar Police.
Martina Dalton is a content writer and is also the editor for the Allovus Design blog. Her fascination for people, their backgrounds, and how they express themselves creatively drives her passion for writing about them. With a background in visual design, writing about creative people and the design industry comes naturally to her. In addition to writing blog posts, editing, and copyediting, she also writes mystery novels.
BILL GRIMMER
Analyzer. Streamliner. Early Bird.
Bill’s design journey began while working in a music store. The branding, medley of images, and typography spoke to him. That’s when he understood what designers do and why he wanted to pursue design as a career. Like music, design is a process, full of variety, ideation, and finessing the details until it’s pitch perfect. Bill loves blending his visual design chops, love of typography, information architecture, UX research, and user-centered design into a harmonious product, certain to delight the user.
JASON CALHOUN
Confidant. Advocate. Shoe Maniac.
Jason believes what the collective builds together is better than what any one person can build on their own. Which is why he finds himself right back where he grew up after years with tech companies in Chicago and Silicon Valley. Jason strives for a balance, and is deeply attracted to Allovus’ cultural values—working hard and enjoying who you work with—but not at the sacrifice of your family.
ALLIE MARIE SOTH
Examiner. Ally. Coffee Craver.
For Allie, life is all about the love and care you put into your family, whether that’s your work family or your family at home. At Allovus, she takes care of our invoicing, payroll, taxes, and a variety of detailed work. She specializes in wearing many different hats—all designed to make Allovus a better, stronger, company. Giving is something that she is passionate about. Showing people that someone cares can make their day go from bad to good with just a kind gesture and a smile.
SHELBY BUTCHER
Streamliner. Connector. Puzzle-solver.
Unflappable and endlessly organized, Shelby keeps projects, people, and processes on track. Whether coordinating RFPs, schedules, or streamlining operations, she ensures everything runs smoothly. A natural problem-solver, she enjoys lending a hand where needed and bringing order to chaos.
HAYLEY HIGGINS
Trailblazer. Problem Solver. Guardian.
When Hayley created Allovus she had two primary goals in mind. She sought to address the needs of the region’s high-tech community while also enabling Allovus employees to make their personal lives a priority. Now, as she continues to grow the Allovus brand, she’s moving the message forward through a variety of charitable projects in the community. She believes a creative mind is what fosters change and innovation, and by supporting college scholarships for high school students with the phsfund.org and other entrepreneurial projects, she hopes to give many the freedom to learn, create, and build.
LIZ ASHLEY
Developer. Designer. Code Cowgirl.
With her roots in fine art and her head in the management of all things technical, Liz proves that art and science can exist harmoniously. She has interwoven the fields of design, fine art, accounting, and management to develop a unique understanding of projects, deliverables, and creative personalities. Her thoughtful left-brain/right-brain approach also helps Liz adeptly manage our technical team.
